The Beginning of
Frymëmarrje
Frymëmarrje is a company founded in 2024 by urban planner Kristina Gjini. "Frymëmarrje" consists of the design, production, implementation and maintenance of natural green walls in indoor and outdoor environments. They are movable in modular form and static.
Construction in Albania experienced rapid growth, especially after COVID-19, transforming every available space into new complexes, mainly residential. This intensive development pace significantly affected the quality of urban life, creating an increasingly congested environment and distancing people from contact with nature.
Raised with a strong connection to nature and professionally involved in contemporary architectural trends, Kristina identified a pronounced lack of more humane, balanced spaces closer to natural elements. This intersection of critical observation, professional experience, and desire to contribute to people's well-being led to the creation of a human-centered product.
